"this is fashion on the edge, risky,
experimental, fashion for the future"
-Maggie Pinhorn
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of alternative fashion week, everyone went all out. This year was even bigger and crazier then ever. What can we say our fashion crazy know how it's done. This year over 60 collections were broadcasted from designers all over, including Italy, Germany, Croatia, Finland and Hungary.
Underwear as outer wear
Looks like it's still riding on the outside, this trend is still standing strong.
Cassie Kogler, showed us how it's done.

"Hello Sailor"
Sailor inspired collection by Debra Smitham and Jessica Kielen showcased on the second day of the week, this quirky bold collection screams fun. Paterened bloomer shorts are teamed with cute shirts, electric blue sailor hats and dorothy shoes. Debra describes the collection as “bright and kitsch”.

Penny Baker does 80's Luxe
Colour blockind, hareem pants, volumised shoulders. Penny baker is bang on trend with her collection.

Chelsea college of art and design
I absolutley love this particular design taken from Chelsea's collection. A delicate coktail dress, with a sharp edge to it. The random sploges of colour are what really makes this dress stand out to me.

Joanna Tulej

This has to be one of my favourite designs taken from the week, she has used the idea of shapes and different fabrics as inspiration. I loved the cape trend last autum/winter, this has really bought that back.
